Vítězslav Otruba receives the Bronze Medal of MU
Yesterday, the Masaryk University Bronze Medal for Lifetime Achievement was officially presented to Professor Emeritus Vítězslav Otruba by the Dean of the Faculty Tomáš Kašparovský.
Vítězslav Otruba is the founder of research and teaching in the field of atomic spectrometry at the Analytical Chemistry Unit (today's Department of Chemistry) at Masaryk University's Faculty of Science. His scientific and pedagogical activities are associated with achievements that represent a significant contribution to the field of analytical chemistry on an international scale.
The Bronze Medal of MU is awarded to Masaryk University staff who have achieved extraordinary results and contributed to the development of higher education and MU. The medal was awarded to Vítězslav Otruba by the Rector of Masaryk University Martin Bareš on the proposal of the Dean of the MU Faculty of Science Tomáš Kašparovský. The proposal was prepared by Viktor Kanický.
