Our reserach: Inhaled Lead Nanoparticles Enter the Brain through the Olfactory Pathway and Induce Neurodegenerative Changes Resembling Tauopathies
The long-term cooperation of the Atomic Spectroscopy Laboratory group with the scientific groups of Prof. Buchtová, MUDr. Dumková and Dr. Mikuška resulted in another publication, which was published in the prestigious journal ACS Nano. They participated in the discovery that inhalation of lead-based nanoparticles leads, among other things, to neurodegenerative brain damage, because the nanoparticles enter the brain directly through the olfactory pathway.
