Jean-Marie Lehn prize for chemistry 2024
The French Embassy in the Czech Republic and the IOCB Tech Foundation organize a competition for the Jean-Marie Lehn Prize for Chemistry in 2024. The goal of this competition is to award the best PhD research work in chemistry.
Criteria for selecting participants:
- Their Ph.D. research is encompassed within the topic of Chemistry.
- They are of Czech or Slovak nationality and are younger than 33 years old on May 1st, 2024.
- They are currently enrolled in a doctorate cycle at a Czech institution of research and higher
education or they have defended their PhD dissertation in 2023 or 2024. - Their PhD studies do not collude with any work for the IOCB Tech Foundation.
- They are the author of at least one scientific article published or accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed international periodical.
Important deadlines:
- March 1, 2024 - applicants send their applications and the necessary documents to the coordinator for MU prof. RNDr. Milan Potáček, CSc.
- March 12, 2024 - the coordinator will select the two best candidates and report their names and contact information to the French Embassy in the Czech Republic.
- April 9, 2024 - the two best candidates will send complete documentation for the application to the competition to e-mail louis.augendre@ifp.cz.
- April 23, 2024 - oral presentation of candidates before the evaluation committee
- June 2024 - Awards ceremony
